MIL’s 2 new Honorary Professors

Friday evening at the MIL seminar we always have a nice dinner usually with singing and other social activities, and this time around it was even more festive, since 2 members of MIL’s steering committee, Bo Fibiger (University of Aarhus) and Oluf Danielsen (Roskilde University), were appointed honorary professors to the MIL programme at Aalborg University.

I have known Bo and Oluf for many years now, and they really are two of my favorite colleagues, not only because of their expert competencies but most of all because they are such amazing people with great wit, strategic and diplomatic intelligence and general life wisdom, which always make it a pleasure to be in their company.

As a member of MIL’s steering committee, Janni Nielsen (Copenhagen Business School) pointed out Bo and Oluf also ensure a good working climate in and around the steering committee, which otherwise is heavily influenced by 3 willful, but also very heartworm women besides Janni, namely Lone Dirckinck-Holmfeld (Aalborg University), Elsebeth K. Sorensen (Aarhus University) and Birgitte Holm Sørensen (Danish School of Education, Aarhus University)… All in all we must consider ourselves privileged to have Bo and Oluf among us in the MIL community :-)
